FIDU Chat-Lab
What is it?
The Chat Lab is our first foray into an application that could benefit from the personal data store FIDU aims to enable. It is an LLM interface web-app, allowing conversations with a range of leading chatbot models from major providers. It does so with a focus on data control, demonstrating our goal for FIDU backed apps.
The core concept is that all your conversation data is saved and can be used to assist in different conversations and tasks across all LLM providers. Create contexts for conversations you can re-use for frequently asked topics, system prompts to control the model output can be created and saved, or browse a curated list of open source prompts from other projects.
The app is still in early phases, so changes will be happening very frequently, and new features are being added constantly. For up to date info, check out the What's New page on the Chat-Lab itself.
How can I use it?
To use the Chat-Lab, you need a FIDU account to sign in. To interact with the models in the Chat-Lab you must be a "Member" tier subscriber (or higher) to FIDU (join here), OR you can bring your own key (BYOK), in which case you can use the chat lab at no extra cost. If you have existing model API keys, simply add them in the settings page, and you will be able to access models that your keys give you access to.
Data Storage
The current iteration of the Chat Lab offers two methods of storing your data:
These are our first steps for data storage, and we plan to move on to a wider range of options, as well as more advanced options, when it comes to the storage and control of your data.
